No. Apparently I did not phrase my question clearly enough. Kindly permit me
to take another whack at it:
Within the context of discussion of the physical durability and stability of
information storage and delivery options which might potentially be used for
documentation of iris registrations, I asked just how jong you thought the
individual images realistically might be needed for reference. No conventional
storage medium, with the exception of words, will last into perpetuity-- ask
Ozymandias-- but an honest answer to this question will define your set of viable
media options.
I also raised the question of the utility of small images of large plants for
documentation, or identification, purposes, which question I think matters.
