Yes the cost of printing is high but does somewhere under $25 sound acceptable. Of course the price isn't my call the Spuria Society might want a larger profit. The possibilities are out there.

The cost of printing and binding a book with text only is not small.
A book with both text and accurate color prints---astronomical! A hundred
dollars a copy? Probably that or more.
But--publication on CD or DVD (better)--or on the probably upcoming 2-sided
DVD--would be another matter. It costs almost nothing to make a CD or DVD.
The cost of the raw media--small. The cost of data transfer--small. The
royalty rights of the originator or copyright owner--higher. The balance?
Distribution and cost of sales--high.
But not nearly as high as the well-printed version.
