Another possibility is that it <can> rebloom just about anywhere, but
maybe doesn't most of the time in most places. Gravelly soil here is
naturally <very> fertile & high in organic matter, so if it rains at
all, things grow like mad.
Fun to finally find something that does more here than elsewhere! <g>
But worrisome re: hybridizing - I may be breeding children that won't
bloom anywhere but here.....
