Not sure I understand, Char. You want me to add things to the soil to
see if I can get HOLY NIGHT to do as poorly for me as it does for other
people? Maybe I could add salt, or put a pile of manure on top of the
clump <g>.
I am surprised to hear that it didn't do well for you, Betty. It has
been very healthy and reliable here. A bit unusual for a California
bred iris in my garden.
<Linda, Have you considered planting it in different spots and trying
some soil additive? Char, New Berlin, WI>
<Gravelly soil here is naturally <very> fertile & high in organic
matter, so if it rains at all, things grow like mad. Fun to finally
find something that does more here than elsewhere! <g> Linda Mann>
