On page 14 of the Temop Two catalogue it states 'A heavy
application of lime in winter will healp control leaf
spot...'. If this has been discussed on iris talk before
would someone please give me the dates? If not, I would
like to know about any research that has been done on this.
Also, is the lime affecting the fungus in the soil or are
the plants better able to resist the infection if the pH is
higher?
The Tempo Two catalogue is wonderful and I am amazed that it
is free and they even pay for the postage!
Also, just to let you know we now have over 60 members in
the BC Iris Society and will have our Organization Meeting
in January. Everyone is welcome to jion us.
