that will take fully flounced/doubled petals and standards.
I agree with you Loic, and I think most of us do like more diversity in
form than current 'cutting edge' breeding seems to be producing. I even
enjoy the old, soft, hang dog form on some blooms.
Only reason I am excited about fat falls is that they add more options
to forms I can currently grow here. So far, none of my earlier
seedlings have wide hafts, and too many have concave, 'banjo' hafts
(narrow at the haft, then round at the tip).
It's like messy hafts - they are interesting, but when that's all I
have, I want something different (i.e., smooth hafts).
