I had good results with IBs  only as POD  carriers.

Only 2 IBs gave something with their pollen:

It's Alienor d'Aquitaine (the French one from Ransom in 1991) and Northern Jewel.

Michael Sutton said his new IBs are pollen fertile, so there is hope.

I'll keep you posted IF/WHEN a IB's pollen ever gives anything!
Tell us too, this kind of tips can save a lot of time!

RARE EDITION has been a reliable survivor here in the vale of despair.

Loic, your high success rate making crosses with IBs makes me want to attempt more of those crosses this year. None have succeeded for me so far, but I haven't tried very much.

Maybe with that sporadic reblooming orange IB that thrives everywhere and often makes extra parts .... whose name is....
