In the proper, straightforward inadequate language I've been taught, i would
translate your litotes full of nuances like this:
Not to mention/ To make things worse/ /
it is probably / it is absolutely //
 not wise / stupid //
 to create an  unfortunate impression
of tailgating.

Of course it is not as pretty, but the meaning gets more obvious, doesn't it.
