 That's what I have but when I've listened w volume turned up it doesn't
sound as nice as I'd like.
 I'll try again.  I have extra speakers and ways to plug in, but my husband
tells me that will not work.
We have not tired it yet though. Just came up w the idea in last few days.
So who knows-- it might work. I just dug the extra speakers out of draw.

He should know better than to tell me "It can't be done".

In doing my last minute wish shopping on internet there's one printer w
rebate that's only $20, and does up to a 5x7 which may be all I need. Very
portable.   So far, haven't figured out what the ink cost.  That's where
they get you.  The site was one Dell sent for last minute for shopping. But
printer is a Canon.

    My college son has a Dell Inspiron laptop, and I swear he uses it as a
jukebox.  I am always complaining it is too loud.  It has volume controls
right on the front edge, and he carries it around like a boom-box... well,
maybe not quite that, but I just wanted to say I think it's loud enough for
a moderate size room.  Speakers could be plugged in as well.  It should be
plug and play.

What or how do I amplify sound for a laptop for presentations?

I have a Dell laptop.

And what is best portable printer.
  I need for our next marking party. I'll just do it on the spot.
