MARGARET INEZ is registered at 36", so sounds like she's not really
"short" & maybe had the potential realized in the stronger growing
seedling you got. I see that SUDDEN IMPACT = (DUSKY C X RUFFLED G) was
registered at 39".
I was thinking more about the short rebloomers - lots registered at ~30
or 32".
388 registered 28" to 34", according to the online checklist. More than
twice that number are taller (813), but it seems like I'm always looking
at two short ones, wishing for taller genes.
Good grief, there is one reblooming TB registered at 46"!
As I looked at some of the names showing up amongst the tall rebloomers
(quite a few registered at 39"), I recognized several (including ROSALIE
FIGGE) that don't get out of the border bearded class here - guess I
need to pay closer attention to potential for height rather than just
relative height here.
One more thing to try to remember while daubing!
