One of the things I like is when people put a watermark on their photos.
That way I can get around to putting their info on the "photo input" when I
have time.
It takes a little extra time but is well worth it.
As far as labeling, I just write the name of the iris. The rest of the info
I right click, then go to "photo info" right click and there's plenty of
room to do all sorts of things that follow that photo wherever, including
usually the kind of camera used, and all it's stats including date photo was
taken.
That comes automatic with digital cameras.
The way I do it, as far as year and hybridizer, if I just rest my cursor on
the photo as I'm scanning things, the name of iris will show, plus the
hybridizer and year without clicking anything.
Again it takes a little extra time to put this info in, but well worth it
down the road.
Even when I do a search, if I've filled out everything. I can just type in a
hybridizers name and all photos of his will come up in my search. Or if I
want a certain year etc.
