Thanks for this clarification. The 2007 Hanbook for Judges and Show officials
is actually burning in the fire-place.
Not hoping for an accurate update anymore!

Sorry i caused such a turmoil, but how could i know the last edition that i
bought in January this year was not to be trusted.
Id'like someone to tell the A.I.S. Storefront to take it off from the
shelves:

Handbook for Judges and Show Officials
The Handbook for Judges and Show Officials, Seventh Edition,
$12.00 for INSERT (complete update). USA/CANADA/INTERNATIONAL
(Same cover will be used as the Sixth Edition.)
$15.00 for INSERT w/COVER. USA/CANADA/INTERNATIONAL

I guess i can't be hoping for a refund of my $15 !

ACK. Maureen is correct. Mea Culpa. Worse yet I actually made the
  motion.

  The Board resolved that:

**That the eligibility of irises for the American Dykes Medal be
reaffirmed as: "The American Dykes Medal is awarded annually by the
British Iris Society through The American Iris Society and is
restricted to irises first originated and introduced in the United
States or Canada. Irises originated elsewhere, although not eligible
for the American Dykes Medal, are eligible for other AIS awards
provided that the iris was first introduced in the United States or
  Canada."
