Should have some bloom this coming spring.

In addition to low seed count, many of the crosses have also had low
germination rate. 1-4 seedlings from 18-20 seed is rather normal. It doesn't
necessarily hold true when these children are crossed to my seedlings. The
rate seems to go up markedly.

2155-01 is Treasured X Renown. Only surviving seedling from 26 seed. When
combined with other seedlings, the results varied. A sibling to Mahogany Muse
x 2155-01 gave 60+ seeds (71% germ) foliage was generally bad.

2155-01 as pod parent followed the Renown trait with only 22 seed, but
produced 65% germination rate. (Treasure, Renown, Lunar Whitewash & Romantic
Evening) Good foliage.

Looking forward to bloom from Roger Nelson's 'Born to Exceed' X Renown.
Healthy plants. BTE has given good plants before. Very strong plants. There
are others with varied results and seven new crosses in the pots.

Anybody have any second generation seedlings from RENOWN yet?
Last year was maiden bloom for first one here - cross of sibs from
OCTOR ALAN X RENOWN. Pretty awful - unhealthy and retro.
Wondering about F1's crossed back to RENOWN - form, stalk strength,
ebloom habit.
