I've not had this happen before - seeds are sprouting in seed pots outdoors since last spring. I guess the long cold but not too cold fall has been enough to get them ready, then nice rain followed by two warm days and up they go.
Not quite sure what I'm going to do - usually don't start bringing in the outdoor pots till the end of Dec, then let them sprout on the sunporch. I don't have room to handle 3 yrs worth of crosses on the sunporch all at the same time. Yikes. Too much bounty!
What do the rest of you do with seeds that start coming up at the beginning of cold weather? Mostly snow free, temps down in the teens F. or lower.
