I was curious to look for trends in the breeding material I've been able to use so far that produced rebloom in their descendants this year. Don't know if this is of interest to anybody but me, but here it is.
No huge surprises - somewhat random results, depending on what I've happened to have been growing that looked like a good match for improving form or adding color to some of the older reliable rebloomers before I started trying to recapture rebloom (mostly the last couple of years), what was fertile and what made viable seeds.
I've added where/if rebloom was reported in the 98 checklist - I haven't looked in the most recent one.
This is for the 98 different seedlings that rebloomed this fall. # is the total number of seedlings that rebloomed that had that particular cultivar in the pod or pollen pedigree (i.e., parent, grandparent etc). I've used some seedlings a lot, so higher numbers for their ancestors.
