My experience with prismatica is that it is a fairly good garden plant in a
rich, moist to marshy loam with a good bit of organic matter. For me, it
is a sparse bloomer.
It doesn't form the usual clumps but instead, loose colonies. The rhizomes
are long and somewhat runner-like. Usually blooms from seed in two to
three years.
