The walking iris is Neomarica gracilis. There are several other species of
Neomarica in cultivation as well. This is a tropical species that probably
could not be grown outdoors where there is any frost. It does make a very
nice houseplant and flowers well, generally in late winter. The flowers
are iris-like, mostly white, but with some blue and bright brown markings.
