Japanese pictures

Through alpine-l, I discovered some pictures of irises in Hiroshima. 
Unfortunately, the colour of a couple of them seem a little distorted,
particularly japonica.  Has anyone seen it that blue?

Note that the sanguinea has been named nertschinskia.
