Sultanas?? Are you talking about Balsam, otherwise known as Impatiens
balsamina (Linn.)? Odd thing not unlike a snapdragon in some respects with
camellia-form flowers that grow right out of the stem? Toothed lanceolate
leaves? Mostly warm pinks, shrimps, reds, some violets? If so, you don't need
to get a pot of them even at those enchanting prices. The seeds are available
in many catalogs but I picked mine up at the hardware store in one of those
seed pack displays that have ineffably neat old-time stuff for ten cents a
pack. Easier to grow from seed than Nasturtiums and they will take hot and dry
without missing a beat. This is a really old garden plant, known to Gerard in
1596. If this isn't what you are talking about keep an eye out at the
hardware store for some Balsam seeds anyway.
