Thank you  for your rapid response to my question.  Growing irises is very
new to me,  Every day I go out to my garden and check them , to see if the
rabbits, the squirrels, or the slugs have done any damage ...so far so
good.  thanks again, Happy New Year, and may all your irises rebloom.
