Good grief, Ruth, I didn't know you were here with us, you slyboots! This is
exciting! We have a lot of folks interested in historic hybrids and species
among us and quite a few HIPS members, too, in all parts of the country.
Dorothy has already said welcome, but I wish to add my own cheery bit, too.

Lots of cat lovers here. Henry and I have six and a a probable seventh in the
form of a splendid fat mackerel alley tom with white bib and feet that Henry
is rapidly luring into domesticity with snacks. That is how he keeps me in
line, too.

I know what you mean about feeling brave enough to post, but don't be shy.
It's a peculiar group in some respects, but a good one.
