I got a nice surprise today. I was showing a neighbor our finished greenhouse,
full
of plants, ' when what to my wandering eye should appear ' but 15 blooms on
I. unguicularis , so dear!! I had left it out for quit awhile in some cool
weather and
it has only been in the greenhouse since Thanksgiving. I didn't even notice
the buds!
I was thrilled! Wayne and I planted 700 spring bulbs this weekend. I have
about
350 to get in tomorrow ( supposed to be in th 60s and rainy ) but then the
temps
drop about 40 degrees. So no matter how wet, I've got to get them in
tomorrow!!!!
I feel it is my last chance! Most of the iris we planted since July are
looking good!
