Some very fine irises here, and I believe every one is historic.
PARATROOPER is one of the great Orville Fay's introductions, which Dorothy
Stiefel is trying to round up. It is rare according to HIPS records.
UNICORN is a rather famous Lloyd Austin from 1954 which has appeared on
several lists in the survey. Here's the registration description......
UNICORN (Austin, R. 1952). TB 36" ...S. bright mulberry, F. white, edge and
centerline mulberry; beard superimposed upon horn projecting 3/4" from center
of F."
