All the discussion about
arils and arilbreds reminds me that I once grew an iris called ENGRAVED, which I
seem to remember seeing listed as an arilbred of some proportion. I don't
have the R & I books, so can somebody help me? Was (is) this an
AB? It died one year after being dug, divided, and replanted, but I may
have been treating it all wrong if it was an arilbred. I don't think I
knew of that (if it is so) at the time.
