OT-CHAT: Merry Christmas

From: StorYlade@aol.com

Talkers,

This day is rapidly becoming another Christmas past. A little time to sigh
and reflecton on events of the day. For me, the greatest treasure of the
season is the new and only grand child. A delightful little girl in such a
rush to join us that she popped into the world prematurely, late on the night
of Oct 9. She's doing well and is up to 10 lbs and wearing new born clothes.
Has a beautiful, if small, smile.

By late afternoon, when she finally arrived at Grandma's house, she was quite
cranky from being passed around all day. Still, she allowed grandma to sing
an old lullaby (by an old grandma) and she drifted off to sleep.

Got a new camera to take picture of the granddaughter and, of course, irises.
Expect irises with names involving Teaghen and/or Reece.

Why do people never listen when I ask for gift certificates from nurseries or
iris catalogs? Oh, well.

If Christmas is past, can iris season be far behind?

Betty from Bowling Green KY who enjoyed a thoroughly good day.
