My Iris cretensis has begun to bloom. I'm quite impressed because the
"stalk" is so much taller than any from last year. It would not set seed
for me before, but I will try again. I will take some photos after the bud
fully opens.
Pretty cool to start off 2000 with an iris bloom, huh? If I remember
correctly from last year, cretensis smells heavenly too. So you should all
be quite jealous, indeed! :)
