OT_BIO Elsie Harrow

I am a transplanted grower from Mich. originally and now live in southwest Oklahoma. I was told about this list by folks in the Iris Chat Room. I have had a few Iris since I moved here from (GASP) Wal-Mart. Then I joined the Friends of Iris Society in nearby Lawton, Ok. I got about 50 plants in their sale and am waiting to see how they will do. I am retired and enjoy crafts and my family here in the area. I am owned by my cat Snoopy and like to learn new things. I finally got my membership to AIS in the mail for me and my sister. I belonged to AIS when I lived in Mich. and had about 150 plants and lots of other kinds of flowers there. My dream is to visit Kew Gardens in England some day. We are in a very dry and hostile climate area here so it will be a real test of the hardiness of my new babies.
