What I actually wanted to know is a source for buying this plant via mail
order.  I'm trying to avoid the compulsion of joining all these different
societies.  Otherwise I'd be too poor!

I did a thorough & exhaustive search on internet, but could not find a
commercial source.  I just love the black foliage with the lavendar
flowers.  I grow some other species of Ruellia, and this "Black Beauty"
would make an excellent companion specimen.

It's just another thing to add to my TDF list, I guess!  I shall add it to
my "wish list" on my web page and maybe I'll get lucky.
