Re unwanted "junk" mail - my solution was to unsubscribe. When I have
time, I go look thru the archives to see if there is anything I am
interested in reading or questions I have time to answer or post my own
questions or observations. So if a post has the wrong subject line, or
no subject line, or thru some quirk of the poster's email, the message
shows up with no text in the archives, or other stuff I don't feel
inclined to spend time on looking at, at least it isn't making me delete
it from my computer.
So, another reason subject lines are important.
