In surfing around this morning I found that the main ONElist website has a
brand new look and at least one new feature.
This is in conjunction with their ongoing integration/merger with eGroups.
(A few months ago, ONElist merged with eGroups)
The one new feature that I noticed is the permanent "anytime chat room" that
is available to list members. While I am not one for frequenting chat rooms,
this appears to be a web based type of chat room. It is always open and
available. This may suitable for members to be able to drop in at any time
and the possibility is always there for a "scheduled chat" such as the Iris
Talk one that has been ongoing on Friday evenings. All you need to
participate is your web browser and to be a member of the list. (which you
are already)
