Doing a search on EVERY iris registered from 1980 to 1999 turns up
two usages of the term. There is no usage after 1986.
I would define it as 'a nonce term that didn't fly.'

(F 159-A x D 560-B: (Eternal Flame x B 533-A)). Schreiner's 1986.
