I am at a loss trying to explain the overpopulation of ladybugs this
year.
They started swarming last fall and their numbers seem to increase
daily.
According to the article in the paper, the last release of ladybugs
in MS was in 1980. Some people report having been bitten by
ladybugs, but the author of the newspaper article denies that
ladybugs bite.. He says ladybugs are just a nuisance we'll have to
put up with until trees foliate and they start going after the
aphids and thrips. I can hardly wait.
Be on the lookout for them, Pat, because they were transported to
Dallas in my car in December and January and I know I released some!
