This might be an incentive for you to keep only the very best. I planted my 
IB seedlings closer than 6" apart, and they are atarting to increase. A few 
I have already culled, as has mother nature. I will pull out anything that 
is not up to standard immediately, and mark only the very best to keep. I 
just don't have the room to keep many, and have to think about next years 
seedlings.
