that is exactly the kind of thing that AIS should be doing. I have in fact
stopped membership bcause other than the pictures and advertising there was
not much in it for me. I am not breeding and usualy just don't have time to
make meetings, even locally (RN on call alot). Tall talk was more
attracrive to me in format and style but even then the people are
recommending the new cultivars that ROT. So i think alot of tried and trues
that you see around your area are there because they can adapt, thus
hybridize our own from them and see if we can get the big folk to make theirs
tougher.
