No matter what iris vendor you opt to order from, the
chances are the irises will have to adapt to the soil
conditions you will be growing them in. Thats because
the vendors will have a different fertilizer mix and
soil medium than you provide, in all probability.

Some may suggest to order from vendors close to your
horticulture zone. Do not necessarily recommend that
myself. My experience was to order a few originally
from many vendors, then watch how they grew. Noting
which grew well and which did not, was able to
determine which vendors' irises grew well here and
sadly which vendors' irises did not.

Do not want to say any vendor names, but can tell you
that one in particular was far superior, here anyway,
than all the others. My favorite vendor might not
coincide to your choice of favorite vendor. But the
main idea is to enjoy the irises. Have fun!
