The catalog of Goodness Grows (332 Elberton Road, PO Box 311, Lexington GA
30648-0311) offers the following:
xPardancanda 'Lollipop'......Dwarf Candy Lily
1.5-2' x 1.5' Full Sun
A GOODNESS GROWS INTRODUCTION. Bi-generic Candy Lilies were developed by
crossing selected colors of x Pardancanda with Dwarf Yellow Blackberry
Lilies. From the progeny, we've chosen bloom hues including deep mahogany
reds, pinks, lavenders, and purples produced by plants with a dwarfish
growth habit like that of Belamcanda 'Hello Yellow."
1 gal. $6.50
Goodness Grows seems reluctant about mail order (then why do they send out
a catalog?). Prices are on the high side and you must pay a 25% "boxing"
fee, plus the actual cost of shipment.
But it does appear that B. flabellata can be crossed to xPardancanda and
that the results are dwarf plants with a larger color range.
