If you cannot find judges, as a last resort, you can:
1. Have judges in your Society, Vernon, Dana, and Ramona judge the show and
not enter.
2. All of you can enter, but Ramona would judge entries brought by Vernon and
Dana, and Vernon and Dana would judge Ramona's entries. Head table entries
would be voted strictly by secret ballot without discussions.
Our society did this twice in the early days when we had no honoraria to give
judges. Be sure to write the rule into your show schedule but do not include the
details. I think you can find Rule 13 on page 35 in the JT handbook. I did not find a
rule in the Judges' handbook to contradict this. Please advise if this has been
changed.
The show must go on!
