Bruce: Most people grow iris from rhizomes, not from seeds. The rhizomes
will multiply (if grown properly). If you really want seeds, you can always
make your own crosses from the first few iris you purchase. I have
purchased louisiana iris from Tempo Two in Australia
(BarryBlyth@bigpond.com); his prices are competitive for high quality
plants, though the shipping and phytosanitary certification do add up. Also
check out another louisiana iris source at http://www.pip.com.au/~irishaven.
Bay View Gardens and Salmon Creek Iris Gardens are also good louisiana
sources, though I'm not sure if they ship overseas.
I can't grow japanese very well, so I can't recommend any sources.
