Re: CULT: Newbie: cult., pests, companion plants and true color of Cranberry Ice?

Dear Dianne,
I am finding that coating new rizhomes with anti-bacterial soap is a
wonderful help in preventing rot.
Last summer, which was the first I knew about this, I didn't lose a single
one. I only that this holds true throughout the year. If I spot rot, I will
apply more soap directly to it.
Hope this helps.

As to Leaf spot, I spray my iris with fungicide at the same time I spray my
roses for blackspot.
