Hi Jim: Never having studied a language (Latin or other) in school my
translation is/was the result of life experience. Having now read all the
other responses - I just wonder if the inscription might be better
translated as "Hear me speak." But I base that on what I consider modern
word usage as opposed to traditional.
Pharmaceutical Latin is dedicated to the necessary abbreviations found on
prescriptions and doesn't take much ability to commit them to memory.
