No, there are no "single blossom classes" in our show, nor has there ever been
since I have been a member. Pat

Sometimes, especially when the season is cantankerous, shows in this area
will allow single blooms to be shown as EXHIBITION only. Although the part
Jeff mentions is a direct quote---"Single blossom classes may . . . " in my
copy there is a statement inserted between classes and may that reads, "if
the show committee includes these in the show schedule."
Pat, does your schedule provide for a single bloom class? This may be why
they are making the distinction. Although it is directed more at the judges
than the schedule committee, page 206 paragraph three in the Handbook is,
also, quite clear on what qualifies and what does not qualify for best
specimen.
Ribbons are not given for "exhibition only" at our show.
