Re: HYB: TB: Sterling Silver, Golden Eagle

From asubsequent post to my comment about STERLING SILVER, MAY HALL, &
GOLDEN EAGLE, I guess I wasn't clear about what I was looking for -
actual plants, not information.

Jeff W has heard my story before - thanks Jeff, for the current
information on suppliers. I would still like to try these two in my
growing conditions, one of these days, but may wait another year. Let's
hope somebody still has them for sale then!

<In the 2003 listings I have received thus far from commercial sources
of historic irises, MAY HALL is listed by Riverview Iris Gardens and
STERLING SILVER by Bluebird Haven Iris Garden.>

My memory is that I was unable to find any mention of GOLDEN EAGLE
online anywhere when I searched before, including Mike Lowe's World of
Iris site. He has a photo of it there now and the photo looks like an
honest to goodness real life digital photo, not a scan. So I guess
subconsciously, I assumed he had found a live plant somewhere, tho maybe
not in a commercial nursery. ?

<As current "HIPS help find stuff person", I would appreciate it if you
would pass the word along to me if you find a source for GOLDEN EAGLE.
