CULT:CAT: evaluation of iris sources criteria?

Here's one for ya.

I found an iris supplier, who shall remain nameless for now, who is in the
business or irises, as opposed to the mainstream catalogs y'all were talking
about the other day.

I was poking around on what was still their 2002 website a few weeks ago and
found that they had all of the iris I knew I wanted at reasonable prices.
They also they had several that I had only heard mentioned on this forum(or
the yahoo version) but that had tweaked my interest but were not availiable
anywhere else that I have found so far. So I was planning to make one order
this year and get about twenty cultivars from this one source.

Then, they updated their site for 2003, and I gleefully went about seeing
what items on my shopping list had gone down in price. Now, the updated
site has some kind of problem with the alphabetical listing and I cannot
access the information on many of my 'absolutely must have this year'
irises.

I e'mailed the site owner and notified them of the problem I was having and
asked if they would e'mail me the specific info I needed directly. That was
at least a week ago now, no response, the site is still flawed and I have
not even received an e'mail to say they are working on the problem.

Now, when I wanted to breed my horse, knowing I wanted to use shipped semen,
one of the criteria I used to pick the stallion was how quickly the stallion
manager got back to me when I needed information. Obviously that kind of
promptness isn't an issue with shipping iris... So what criteria do you use
for determineing who gets your iris business?
