Re: measuring bloom size


Vicki,

According to a diagram in the SDB section of the AIS Judges' Handbook, the
heignt of thr blossom is the vertical distance from the top of the
standards to the tip of the falls. The widrh is measurde as the distance
bwetween the tips of two adjacent falls. All measurements are made with the
flower in its natural form (i.e., don't straighten out the falls from thir
natural curvature).
