SPEC: Iris virginica in Florida


     The native stands of Iris virginica in the Rainbow River are now in 
bloom.  Since this is a spring fed river, and the water stays very close to 
72 F all the time, these are the earliest to bloom.  
     For the sake of comparison, my Iris virginica is up only a few inches.  
But, I can reach the river in only a few minutes.
