Hi,

Well I guess that is up to the person.  If you fly in you have to arrange
for your meal somewhere and the hotel is usually very expensive.  So then
you take a cab to and pay for that plus your meal.  If you are local you may
drive in and then to a restaurant on your own.  If you don't know the area
you may have a problem.

I enjoy meeting people and going to the dinner gives me a whole table of new
people to meet as I generally sit with new people so I can add people to my
list of know Irisarians.  That is part of the event is to meet people, make
new friends and see Iris.

I meet the nicest people in the world at these events.
