Re: OT: Lurkers & Lookers

Hi Bo,

So, what software did you buy to go with your camera. I tried several and
I am enrolled at our local tech in a Digital Photography class.

I got to the first class and much to my horror all of the computers in the
classroom were Mac. I was really disappointed as I have a PC. Well, I
decided to stay and am glad I did. All my new learned skills are
transferable and I highly recommend ADOBE Photoshop. Secret. Go to your
local tech and Jr college bookstore. You can get the educational version
for $300. Otherwise it is over $700.

I have had some real break trough's and I am enjoying my camera a lot more
now. I can fix the opps and that is why I bought the Digital.

talking about! BUT, I would also consider myself a POOR lurker, since I
haven't checked my iris e-mail for about 3 months! Not to mention that I
can't remember the last time I wrote to the list! --EEk!--

and refurbished iris bed is completely covered in white 'fertilizer' and I
hope all 30 iris will be in great shape this spring when it thaws. I'm so
glad that we have some snow this year! Our yard has about 15 inches in it,
and we have 8 piles made from snow-plowing!

I don't know who mentioned it to me, but they said that shopping for a long
time before buying was a good idea, and I think it helped. I have a Kodak
DX 6490, and hopefully you'll see some of my garden in Iris Photos this
summer. Thank you ALL for your wonderful help to all my Dig. Camera
questions!
