This is a breakthrough year for the iris hybridizing of Don Shepard of
Phoenix, Arizona. Don has sixteen new introductions for 2004 spanning three
different categories of iris.

There are three aril bred iris introductions, eleven tall bearded iris
introductions, and two Louisiana iris introductions. My favorites are the
aril bred ARIZONA DOVE, and the tall bearded DIZZY LOVE. There is enough
variety that all gardeners should be able to find an iris they love and
would like in their garden.

The site also includes a link to the "soon-to-be" web site of Shepard Iris
Garden that will contain their complete 2004 price list.
