Alfabits (alflafa horse feed) comes in cubes also - they are big and put on 
top of the ground near plants they turn/ look gross when it rains --like cow 
"patties"  It also  comes in pellets  about the size of the eraser at the end of 
a pencil (what I prefer) and it also comes as a meal -- but that will blow if 
there is a breeze when you put it out    This, of course is horse country, 
and these 2 styles are available here in feed stores.   Places like Southern 
States, garden centers, etc etc don't carry all 3 kinds..My ice is melting a
