Seems like a lot of plicatas approach the dark rim around lighter ground
idea, and some are certainly there (maybe through plicata genes, maybe
not??).  There was one among the photos of the Shreiner's seedlings the
last few days on the Iris Photos group.  Didn't do much for me, but
interesting looking.
